WHAT RENTERS SHOULD DO BEFORE MEETING AN AGENT

As a real-estate agent there are a couple things I need up front before working with you, some renters like to wastes the realtors time, than go rent alone, or are just un-prepared so here's a couple things I ask for before working with them to get them prepared and be ready for an application for the landlord to consider.

PREPARE YOURSELF WITH THESE ITEMS, for a face to face meeting;

- Completed Application

- Copy of Credit Report

- Reference Letters that may be helpful

- Financial Info; Paystubs, Bank Statements w account number crossed off. Income tax return upon landlord request

- Agent provided agency disclosure, you'll need to sign

- Copy of Drivers License

There are some key financial information that's gonna show the agent you're a serious contender and want to rent asap, eventually you'll need all those items anyways, so just take care of it right at the start of the process.
